Congratulations to Steve Barros. He purchased his winning ticket at the Wine and Chocolate event in February. He lives in the Bay Area and has a Vacation home here in Lake County. To this date, Sheri and I have raised, $4,600.00 for the Freedom House , LFRC Steve will be in our Inspirations Gallery on Monday for his Photo shoot and presentation of his "Vintage View" painting. 2009 JURIED “FLORAL STILL LIFE” COMPETITION
The Lake County Arts Council’s Main Street Gallery is delighted to receive your request for participation information for juried art show “FLORAL STILL LIFE”, which will be displayed in the Linda Carpenter Gallery for the month of March, 2009. So that your participation is a pleasant and rewarding experience, here is the information and procedure that you will need to follow as participant.
Juror. Our juror GAILSALITURI is a Member of OPA and works with various art organizations including American Art Venue, Napa, CA., Her works have been published in Art of the West; Southwest Art and Stepping Out magazines. Gail is an Accredited Fine Arts Judge and served as Judge for the State of California Fair System, judging Fine Art, Photography, Crafts, Wood Working and Pottery from 1980 -1993.
Show Theme. FLORAL STILL LIFE
Exhibition Dates: March 1 thru March 30, 2009. Awards will be presented during the
First Friday Fling, March 6th, 2009.
Judging and Selection: February 16th & 17th, 2009.

Also we will be taking Silent Auction bids for "Detner Lake" an original oil created by Gail Salituri for this event. This painting is a 16x20 in size valued at $1,200.00.
Come in and place that opening bid! All proceeds go to the Laforge memorial fund.
